Write as much as you can..honestly.. I write shit slow so i could only manage below 3k words.. but others wrote 4k or so.... It depends on whether you get the message across though. if you can put together a good enough essay then you wont have to write alot...

I dont know how other schools do it.. but at mine it was like people who did esl did esl and the rest just got placed into advanced and standard according to their year 10 bands and ranks and whatever.. and then in year 11 the bottom 30 of advanced were asked to drop to standard... this way just...
