our teacher always used to cut stuff out of the SMH for us...:D...But any of the bigger newspapers will always cover high profile legal cases... or u can just look stuff up on lawlink ( cant remember the website addy) for lesser known cases that u can be used.

IF u top ur class and get 100 in exam ( even tho ur asses mark was 80 originally) u can technically get 100 overall...because the top exam mark is also rewarded to the person ranked 1st in assesments 4 their asses mark...if that makes sense?? e.g my asses mark 4 legal was 95 but i got 97 in exam...

people think it was an easy test??hmph! yeah, its easy to say that now when u can look at it post HSC and think about things more clearly , rather then being stuck in an exam situation and going "what the f**k?" because you've just spotted a question on international crime that seems completely...

yeah its only if ur going 4 advanced standing in subjects...i think they loko at ur HSC marks in languages if ur trying to get in2 a second year subject in a language you already did in the HSC...but thats printed on ur form once u get to the uni so u dont need 2 take it!

Im doin Arts/Law....and history, politics and some english thingo for subjects cos i eventually wanna do a joint major in histpry/politics. I think its gunna be packed on tues....ill be there at 11am on the dot waitin to sign up!

do you have to definetly decide on your major yet? or can you just try out a few different subjects in first year before settling down in 2nd year n picking the subjects specifically related to the major you choose?....cos if u can do that, id be tryin a few diff subject areas n seein what ones...

OOH YEAH! I can't wait until the season starts...lucky there's a spongebob marathon on nickelodeon evry arvo in these hols to keep me occupied while i wait! :D

@suz: Heyo, i went to an arts info thing at Uow 2day, & they said that arts/law students only do 3 arts subjects per session in the first year...(instead of the normal 4).Im also doin History, politics and am not really sure what Im doing yet for the third...

i did cf in '03 and would just to add that if anyone is lookin for some supplementary texts there ARE heaps out there for this topic... and most of em are good too! Any books by Peter Robinson, Michael Connelly, Denis Lehane, Ian Rankin and ESPECIALLY George Pelecanos fit easily into the genre...

i would be very very cut with 4...i had 2 89's...d'oh!

ours is based on uai...And it doesnt get awarded until the schools presentation nite the following year (i.e December 2004)- so if ur desparate to get ur money/award at our school ur pretty screwed.
