Legal question: wearing a mask while driving?

Mine arrived earlier today and then I saw the video and was like "must do". I like JFK's idea, but are the police likely to see some guy in a stationary car wearing an optimus helmet and get angry? Do the new p plate laws include zero tolerance for wearing transformers props? I don't think...

Legal question: wearing a mask while driving?

Nopers I'm a guy, pics from my american inspiration. That's why it's not worth the risk, I don't have any reason other than making people go "OMG WTF" when they drive past // when I get drive through food. And it would be a cool novelty. I'd only do it once but if you got in legal trouble for...

Legal question: wearing a mask while driving?

Peripheral vision is suprisingly good but not the best. Helmet stays centered fine for blindspot checks, I don't think it would actually impair driving but I think if you were in an accident - for unrelated reasons - you'd be screwed. Helmet in action: Is there some RTA law that says you cant...

Legal question: wearing a mask while driving?

The helmet I have in mind has a pretty good field of vision but if you got in pretty much any accident I think you'd be at fault just because you were wearing it. Maybe not worth the risk?

Legal question: wearing a mask while driving?

Would it be against NSW road law to drive around wearing an optimus prime mask?

    bmw good?

Well... good... if I saw someone driving that (depending on the accompanying custom paint, faggoty rims, gay decals and blinging interior) I'd probably follow you till you stopped and kill you. So no, not good.

Can you just do straight law?

Re: Can you just do vanilla law? I didn't change it :( Mods strike again. How recently do you leave school to count as a non-recent school leaver? I did my HSC last year so I doubt I'll qualify till like 2010.

Can you just do straight law?

Re: Can you just do vanilla law? NRSL standing for what? Basically I just want to escape my current course outline of one or two law units a semester and do something more like the Non Grad Law thing where you just do two a semester till there's none left.

Can you just do straight law?

Hey all. Am studying a split B. Communication Studies / B. Laws and (like everyone else) I just want to get out of uni asap. Unluckily for me I know absolutely nothing about the way uni courses work; is it possible to just abandon your other component and do plain law? Would finish over a year...

    Those Magnetic Number Plates

I think it's pretty much impossible to attach a P plate to the exterior of my car. Anywhere. You can get them on but they never last (even for a short drive down to the shops). As of the first I'm just removing my static windscreen plates and thats all. If I get pulled over then I'll just say I...

    Battlestar Galactica

Does it give anyone else the shits that the soundtrack *still* isn't out yet? I watched the finale of S3 again tonight just for the awesome music :(

Do you hate mature age students?

I'm a school leaver and I actually quite like the mature age students, they're great in groupwork because (unlike most of the students) they actually do what they say they will :P I don't know, I personally just prefer the more mature level of communication you get with older people. No one I...

    Official "Blah Blah" UWS thread

I think it's time for another patented Sam letter of complaint. I got some coupons from Hungry Jacks but I went and used them all. NEED MOAR.

    Official "Blah Blah" UWS thread

Ari just brings the rest of us down. But did you check all of the KFC's in NSW?

    Double Degrees

Outstanding. @OP, interesting choice of degrees but I don't think UWS offers it. Also, as pointed out, you'll be in for a fair bit of driving.

    Escaping UWS?

Yeah, I don't know. Thread has polarised my views a little :P

    P1 Restrictions coming July07!

I'm sure there are cops out there who'd throw the book at you for it but that's a risk I'm willing to take, especially since the new zero tolerance speeding thing means there's not really anything else to use demerits on. Zero tolerance is especially horrible as I do 100 on the motorway (100...

Same. "Honestly officer, they must have fallen off!"

    which car?

I personally think Vtec is hugely overrated. I get better performance boosts by filling up on premium than I do from hitting vtec, yo. OP, the new Corollas are very nice but the only one I've driven had a really sloppy gearbox. Was pretty new so I'm not sure if it's an issue with the whole...
