trials actually don't count either... your trial mark gets submitted, but it won't be used unless you file a misadventure or similar

with the independent i dont think everyone does it at the same time, but they have something like a 'security period' where the papers can't be released to students and the like so that the trials are fair for all... its something along the lines like that anyway. same as for the ARC papers....

in year 11 the fowler book is okay.... in year 12 use davis' book.

the answer to question 7 is C... an organisational chart shows the order of hierarchy within a company... this may be departments or positions... i remember doing that paper last year.... but other than that, i'm pretty sure all of Huy's answers are correct :) ...

to the first one, if IT does count, it is because once 'scaled' it gives you a better mark than Eco does 'scaled'... so iin such a case it isn't really scaling you down because if they took Eco it be worse.... but I'm guessing your talking scale in general... for band 5, not too hard...

afaik it shouldn't be a problem... not with java anyway, because it compiles to bytecode... (so you dont need to recompile) and if you use swing your gui should display properly regardless cos there not tied to the platform then
