Re: Semester 2 USYD Chatter Thread YES. Could do with a bit of a break, right now.

    USYD Chatter Thread

Re: Semester 2 USYD Chatter Thread Heh. Yeah, after seven weeks of lectures and tutorials they expect us to know a bit more. It's all interesting! It's just a lot of detail and new terminology. Which is true of every subject, I guess. I'm just having a bit of a whinge. :P

    USYD Chatter Thread

Re: Semester 2 USYD Chatter Thread ANAT2010 is killing me. I'm having so much trouble remembering all the names and matching them to structures/functions/etc. Stupid brain(s).

    USYD Chatter Thread

Re: Semester 2 USYD Chatter Thread Yes, it's very content heavy. On the plus side, there are few in-semester quizzes (2, from memory?), so you can use stuvac to stuff all that knowledge into your brain before the exam. Edit: Also, jealous of the new facilities. I was always in Madsen for my...

    USYD Chatter Thread

Re: Semester 2 USYD Chatter Thread The main thing I struggled with in PHYS1500 was people leaving the volume on their computers ALL THE WAY UP while running lab exercises with audio feedback. Seriously. Why.

Re: Semester 2 USYD Chatter Thread I need my mid-semester break NOW, instead of the stupid scheduled ‘mid’-semester break.

Re: Semester 2 USYD Chatter Thread A lot of the people in my tutorial groups are varying degrees of flu'd. I am the worst person but I am a GREAT disease vector.

Re: Semester 2 USYD Chatter Thread Thanks to my flu I can't walk fast because I overheat, and I can barely breathe. I've become one of them. A slow walker. I'm sorry.

    USYD Chatter Thread

Re: Semester 2 USYD Chatter Thread I have the flu, which was obviously different to whatever was given in the flu shot. There is no part of me that does not hurt, and the volume of nasal mucus I can produce is amaaaaazing. Contemplating only attending compulsory labs/tutorials, since I doubt my...

    USYD Chatter Thread

Re: Semester 2 USYD Chatter Thread Goals. I have these ones for nursing that assume a hell of a lot of knowledge on philosophy, anthropology, and sociology. I'm drowning in tabs of Google searches. I do more reading to understand the reading than there is reading in the actual reading.

    USYD Chatter Thread

Re: Semester 2 USYD Chatter Thread I had no idea we had a new website until you all mentioned it. It's totally rubbish. Also how is it only week 2 and I'm already behind on my readings? SO MANY READINGS.

    USYD Chatter Thread

Re: Semester 2 USYD Chatter Thread No, because I don't have enough of it left. Just try to pull it out neatly, and you'll be right.

    Semester 1 USYD Chatter Thread

Haha! Mine is only 2000 words. :P

    Semester 1 USYD Chatter Thread

Oh yeah! But the Shellshear is open to all students, right? Up and at 'em, passion!

    Semester 1 USYD Chatter Thread

Well, the Nicholson and the Macleay at least.

    Semester 1 USYD Chatter Thread

I've only just figured out that my tutorials don't run during all weeks, so my first Monday back shall be a cruisy 9–1 with a break from 10–12. I had a 6 hour break last semester. Later on it becomes useful for actual work. In the first few weeks I just drew and napped and visited on-campus...

    Semester 1 USYD Chatter Thread

As you said, though, still a lot of dedication, courage, and hard work behind your choice! I admire anyone doing advanced maths— you all have brilliant brains, and should be proud.

Cheers. They do! We had it in Charles Perkins, which is so shiny and new... I'd never been there before.

    ANAT2008 - 87 GEOS2111 - 77 NURS5042 - 88 NURS5081 - 78 I can live with this.

    Semester 1 USYD Chatter Thread

My clinical placement is done! Ah, finally, holid- No, wait. Two weeks of work. Would a new train station mean an end to the hair-tearing molasses-like flow of slow walkers?
