lol no problem. well according to last years statistics, 7% of the state recieved a band 6, so top 5% would prob be over 92 or 93 i guess, the average hsc mark in the state is a 73 so overall people dont do so well in this course- i guess cause alot of people just dont care about it... but a raw...

haha, 79 is pretty good, you would have come second in my class- and you dont know how your teacher marks in comparison to the state! If you've dont some study and are confident about the course you should be just fine... knowing most of the info should get you a high mark i would think.

ha yea, I honestly can't say what they'd do, i wouldnt expect them to include something thats not in the syllabus, and dont think i'll do as well as i was hoping cause of the lengthyness of that maths exam- and they asked for three poems instaed of two in english (though i dont do that text) So...

haha, yea, those tables- i dont know what their called but they were in every option question of an hsc a few years back, but they good as you said cause they tell you everything to do. lol trials were pretty good, got 85, probably should have gotten over 90 but i lost marks on some stuff...

haha yea, i state primary and foreign keys all the time, if you know and you've got the time stick it in- you cant lose marks! I dont think they'll do anything about it, they said they got very few complaints, but they'll probably just adjust the marks up, if the top mark is 95 or something...

That sounds like a tough week, best of luck with all that... I'm also aiming for top 5% and IPT is my only exam next week- but exams arent my strong point, however as long as you answer every question you'll be fine- that seems to work for me- except in english... lol

haha, i just wrote sql for both parts of that question and lost a mark on both cause i forgot to write type=dvd but otherwise the sql would have been correct (mabey my teacher likes me, or likes sql) I assume you did the CSSA trial cause thats what where talking about... So yea, i think it...

ha, yea- makes sense to me, i really doubt they could say something like 'normalise this database without splitting it into tables' cause that would just be cheap, kinda like that 7 mark question in legal which wasnt in the syllabus.. hmm *goes and tries to determine how to normalise databse...

haha, sorry- just looked at the question and indeed it is part of that field name. I dont know how it could let you have brackets in a field name, let alone spaces... but who am I to argue with these trial papers, just give em what they want and everyone is happy i guess...

lol- it doesnt really matter what you get as long as you've done your best, so if you do your best there shouldnt be all that much stress, its over soon enough anyway.. haha, pessimism and realism are often similar- but with this hsc all we need is optimism.

haha yea, I dont really get all of it- and the fact they keep it a secret doesnt help. All i know is that our raw marks arent our hsc marks, and they usually go up- and are then mabey scaled down (depending on subject) Speculating kinda eases the suspence. lol

IPT isnt scaled well, however aligning and scaling are two completely different things. Your raw mark is aligned and then scaled- I would advise that you take a look at the thread about raw marks found here http://community.boredofstudies.org/showthread.php?t=55648
