i think we may have one, but we'll be advised of it - nothing is published on the uws site for medicine, it's so frustrating! I guess they'll let us know about everything at orientation...

from the letter, sladehk, i think it was 68 CSP places, 3 medical rural bonded scholarships, 24 bonded medical places, and 8 domestic fee paying. So all up 103 yeah? I'm just wondering how we find out which place we received..

    Everything Science Fiction

Can someone actually define for me the difference between science fiction and fantasy? These are my favourite types of books, but I've never quite been sure how to discern one genre from the other - to me, they have many inherent similarities. Any takers?

    UWS Med UAI

Lol, well, from what I could tell, we were all pretty much hanging out for second year, to do all the interesting subjects, like anatomy-based subjects, immunology etc etc. Not to mention dying to get into medicine, but I think most were waiting for post-grad. First year is maths, physics...

    uws med

ummm, from what I can remember: My percentiles were: 84, 95 and 93 (can't remember my raw scores, sorry) and UAI was 95.15. Interview was alright - nervewracking, but very interesting, and definately a learning experience~!

    UWS Med UAI

Well, I got 95.15, and that was accepted? My score was from HSC of 2005. They told us after the interview that the mark was used to see if we were eligible for the interview, along with a good umat score, and then the UAI was discounted altogether. Admission was based on interview and UMAT...

    UWS Med

I answered you PM btw - I didn't have any issues logging on and completing everything I could, perhaps it was just an IT problem or something today? Btw, they ask you to make sure you're checked for infectious diseases by having a blood test. That's what my day was all about today. Just...

Haha, I'll agree with you about the ridiculous workload, and this is only first year, but I think second semester is better than first - if only coz everyone's more settled, and you know people etc., like you said.

  17. rusty_rouge

parents gifts for getting good in hsc ? or no gifts :(

I bought myself some treats with my own money - but parent-wise, no presents or anything - the marks were for my own advantage, and their pride was more than enough to satisfy me. :D
