    Estimate Raw Mark Band Cutoffs

anyways the rounding works both ways using my example 96_97 would give you 97 for 3/4u people but 48/50 (96) for 2/3u

    Estimate Raw Mark Band Cutoffs

it gets rounded up to 49 just like if u get 96 and 97-96.5 is rounded to 97 although i suspect if u do 3unit and got 96 97, thats 96.5 (halved to 48.25 so rounded to 48)

    terry lee's 3u

here's his draft few errors though graph one i tink is x<4 and probability is 1-0.68=0.32 and last question he didnt factor in m=1 so rnage is 20

    General thoughts- Extension 1 maths

policy is if you crossed it out and wrote another answer they have to only look out teh new asnwer but if you crossed it out, and then didnt rite another answer (like ran out of time or something) then they'll read it

What Your think your raw marks will be?

btw does the board still let you do that freedom of information thing havent heard anyone say anyting about it before 30 bucks doesnt seem bad for 5 subjects much betta than the 20 bucks per subject to get marks re-added (and then the "nah we didnt make the mistake you're just dumb)

What Your think your raw marks will be?

i thought it was harder than usual but couple of my teachers and terry lee said it was easier than previous years i know i lost 3 already so max 81 but only had time to check first 1.5 q i usually get like 10marks of errors lol but this year had less number asnwers i reckon just have to wait...

General Thoughts - Mathematics Extension 2

Re: General Thoughts - Maths Extension 2 does the board release any raw marks? or is it just from markers leaking it to their students?

    Post up Estimate Marks!

i did every question that i attempted (left out last 9 or 10) so i cant really break ti down to each q (although i know i lsot a mark in integration for not simplifying tan inverse, lol i suspected there was a reason y it was worth so much) but hopefully i dont make more than 5-6 errors (big...

General Thoughts - Mathematics Extension 2

Re: General Thoughts - Maths Extension 2 sigh that test was by far the easiest one yet all the questions were doable but i worked to slow and only got the first 5-6 marks in q8 before times up like 40 ppl in my school (out of 120) said they finished the test:( and so far quite a few said...

    Answers To Difficult Questions

which term best describes the role of chlorine free radicals in this process? the equations are one way, so therefore the examiners did not intend for people to view it as a catalyst, in other words, this reaction GOES TO COMPLETION therefore, you can ignore anything about increased yield...

    Chemistry scaling

yeh it does get scaled and that is actually why it is better to do the big student options our teacher told us it would only be wise to do either industrial or shipwrecks say 8000 do industrial, compared to say 300 for forensics (making this up) nad that many people do forensics because...

    Raw Marks?

you cant really tell because most of the marks you'll lose wont be from m.c. or calculations but the big markers based on my schools trials (think it was the neap) you get penalised for every little thing (79 would have been good enough to top 3 of the 6 classes lol) they can have pretty stingy...

    Industrial Chemistry (Equilibrium model)

lol we had pipettes so i just said they are fragile and might break and cut you

    Industrial Chemistry (Equilibrium model)

in 02 they asked for "a first hand investigation involving an equilibrium REACTION" this yr they were testing a completely different dotpoint its like them asking for how to make a standard solution and you answer how to do a titration similar in some regards but still completely different...

Molar heat of combustion vs. Molecular weight.

line of best fit is used for several reasons for one, many graphs dont start from 0 so it would be pointless to force it through the origin (think planck's constant exp in physics) the lobf (or curve) is meant to provide a relationship between the data you got it also makes your analysis more...
