Err, don't listen to this. Try to attend everything. It's much better and saves you effort and stress later. I know people who got into advanced science then failed heaps of units and were kicked down to the regular stream because they had this attitude.

They only do 50/50 if your uni marks are worse than your ATAR. If your uni marks are better then they just take those.

Have you even read the requirements first? Physiology requires only 6 cp of JUNIOR chemistry and 30 cp of other JUNIOR science.

Chem is a prerequisite or at least assumed knowledge for a loooot of intermediate subjects... Unless you suck at it, I'd advise to do it.

ECMT and ECON are different subject areas.
