I would stay away from these sorts of related texts as you may have a HSC marker which is very old fashioned and they may not be likely to reward you with the marks you deserve. English is a very biased subject. Sorry to break it to you.

Mate, its not that difficult. Go to your teachers tell them the problems and grab as many worksheets off them Read the textbook. And get into a proper study regime.

You would use both imagery and facial expressions. This will give you an indication of the sound use to show belonging. Think outside the square. Be imaginative.

Wrong. Totally wrong. If the entire cohort does well it will scale your high marks down. You need to think of it as a whole state thing. Not just in the basis of your school cohort.

Well, i would stay away from Movies and Songs. I would use articles, novels, diary entries etc. The thing with the text types you're going to use is that you really have to nail them. I would suggest a novel composed by Dave Pelzer. It deals with isolation quite well. The book i would suggest...

Ask your teacher for a film technique glossary. You'll have to do your own work mate, get the glossary go through the movie and make notes. Relate it back to belonging by using your thesis statement. People on here cannot do your assignment for you.

Well you i suppose, because you actually signed it. Although you can't legally sign a contract under 18. But then again it could still hold up in court as its Centrelink. Not a legal expert, but i would highly suggest you discontinue this youth allowance then.

The point of it is to see how well you would do in those subjects in years 11 and 12. Such as Mathematics, English, Science and History. People leaving in year 10. Test your knowledge you have learnt throughout years 7,8,9 and 10. If you want to get into a selective high school it matters.

The short films relating to belonging will be hard to find, as this is the first year implemented this area of study. I would suggest that you research films you haev in your lounge room and see what you come up with.

Well, you should really have heaps of money to travel. I mean i wouldn't travel at the moment, not until our dollar strengthens. And my worst fear is not havng enough money, but parents would always help:D

Just go through past papers. Word lists. Know your techniques Know how to analyse poems, stories, diary entries etc. RELAX and don't forget mathematics as it can be tricky. Also for history remember to write down dates and such
