Got all the classes I wanted! I was getting the overload message then I logged on through Student Portal, don't know if that makes a difference.

Apply for a waiver? I only had 23cp and was accepted. Was pretty straight forward and very easy. Don't miss out because you're 3cp short!

Anyone else enrolled to do this unit? I am quite excited for it! I hope it lives up to my expectations.

I really don't think it's that bad provided you don't let yourself fall behind. The tutes sometimes seem like a waste of time but I suggest you go just to ensure you understand everything that is being taught. Really it's not as terrible as some students make it out to be, and the work load...

Can't seem to find this on the website... What time can we register in classes on the 28th Jan? Is it a particular time e.g. 9am, 10am.. or midnight..?

I think it's ridiculous that they assume we can all rely on iLecture. Surely seeing as we pay to do these PLANNED units we have a right to be able to attend all lectures.

I'm starting my second year of my BPsych (Hons) and noticed that two core units clash in the current draft timetable - one lecture overlaps with another. Who would I have to contact in terms of this? Is this is a timetable error?

Am I allowed to enrol in three internal units and one external unit?

Are all lectures recorded for ilecture? I work two days a week and need to tell my boss which days I can work next year. There's a couple of days when I have only one lecture so I figure I can just listen to the lectures over iLecture. The units are PSY247 and PSY236

So.. I chose which units I wanted to do this semester quite some time ago. Three external units that I'm doing just out of interest to take up some credit points needed for my Bachelor of Psychology. Anyway - I chose to do HIST253 because I love history but wasn't interested in the 100 level...

What about part-time work? Can you receive YA with a part-time job?

I'm quitting my full time job at the end of the year and going back to Uni full time next year. I am applying to receive YA next year too. However, I will technically qualify for YA in about October this year (will have earnt enough money and will be a full time uni student externally)...

I assumed that because being a full time student was such an integral aspect of receiving Youth Allowance that I would be asked to prove it. But by the above posts I guess it's not as hard as I thought. I'm going for the "earn at least 19000 (or there abouts)" category.. whatever you'd like to...

I'm applying for Youth Allowance in December this year (to avoid the new rules coming in) and I was just wondering - how do I prove I'm a full time student, as I won't be enrolled in any classes yet (for 2010)...? I will be studying full time Semester 2 this year.

Should I go by my gross or net earnings when calculating whether or not I've earned 75% of the maximum rate of pay...?
