    Urmmm ?

Wait... who's the lazy one? Anyway, not going to get into an argument. P.s. Your spelling and grammar is atrocious.

    Weight Of Your School Bag.

Sure could. Let your imagination run wild. For one books are essential (never attempt HSC without some sort of book) Pens don't go astray either. Then there's my fleshlight, which I take everywhere (obviously)

    Urmmm ?

Care to translate? Seriously, if people can't put in effort putting in AT LEAST paragraphs, why should I put in the effort of reading it.

    ....?

Don't worry, she's probably a dud root anyway.

    Urmmm ?

Just letting you know I didn't read this. Got about one line in before my brain gave up.

    numbers vs letter grades

Heh, imagine if they did letter grades for multiple choice. "You got an E, because you chose B and the answer was A" That would be confusing. Or "You got a B, because you chose B when the answer was A, so you were *nearly* right"

    Weight Of Your School Bag.

Mine used to way tons before I could drive. Now I leave most of my shit in the car. But before that I used to have changes of clothes and all sorts of junk in my bag because I'd usually have somewhere to go after schooll.

What should i do after the HSC???

Depends what kind of person you are. I took a gap year this year, only because I know I'll still want to go to uni next year. Remember a year is a pretty long time, and if you wanted to go to England you could still do it later in the year (Ie, if you take a year, you don't have to decide...

    Porridge

Oh hell yeah! Love that shit. Winter is on it's way! Can't wait.

    numbers vs letter grades

It depends. If the question says "show all working" then you have to show your working. If you don't then you're just not doing what was asked. But if the question doesn't ask for it and you give the correct answer, why shouldn't you get full marks? It's maths, not English, remember. They don't...

    numbers vs letter grades

Well, you are in the HSC forum. As for your crazy QCE, I'm not sure how that works, but you're saying it's not based on marks at all? Another thing, numbers and marks are easier to translate into statistical data, which is done when calculating UAIs and stuff. (Again, not sure about this...

    numbers vs letter grades

OK, that comment about Math's just didn't make any sense to me. If you get it right, you get a mark. If you get it wrong, you don't. As for English, *maybe* it would be better if there were grades (for extended response, not for short answer) but I think it's better to do marks anyway just...

    numbers vs letter grades

Numbers win, hands down. Because that's what they do in the HSC, and that's what you'll be wanting to know how you can get one or two extra marks. For example, if you got an "A" in English, you wouldn't really think there was anything to improve on, where as your mark could have only been 18/20.

    Urmmm ?

Don't wink at me, well are you doing TAFE or not? And are you doing the HSC there or something else? I'm just saying that if you did leave to go to TAFE in year 10, there's a whole bunch of stuff that you're missing out on at school (I can think of formals and year 12 jerseys for one) From a...

    Explaination

Stop complaining. Everyone who does Bio and Legal will have them on the same day. Just because you are the only one in your school doesn't mean there aren't thousands of kids in the same situation. I had Music and English 1 last year, and I went well in both. Imo, you'll be glad to have...

    Urmmm ?

If the HSC is so useless, then why are you doing the HSC, rather than TAFE? There are other things to consider here, like the whole "growing up" part. I don't know where I would be without all the experiences I had in year 11 and 12 at school. There are some things that TAFE just doesn't...

    Esterification

I was going to answer this but then I realised I honestly can't remember. But TBH I don't think so. I mean, it need to be pretty hot, but I'm pretty sure the reflex does the rest.
  19. champo14

    Urmmm ?

A positive environment, yes. But not one that isn't going to push you to get that higher UAI. For example, you could rank 1st in all subjects, which isn't really going to motivate you to study and work harder before the HSC.
