anyone have any recommendations for a 2nd year science subject to do????????????? or basically anything ffs. economic geography is the most horrible thing in the world and every other geos unit i try to pick up, it won't let me get my timetable (there are major clashes or something...)

i had to do something similar to that last year (except from a place about 5 minutes further away from wallace). i pretty much just moved my mereweather lecture to an earlier time.

it doesn't make any difference? standard and advanced english are scaled the same for your uai so as long as you go well in it it shouldn't matter. i did standard english and my UAI was 93.50. my mark in std english was 79. i also did really low scaling subjects like IPT.

just take in your printed one to the timetable people and they'll do it for you. otherwise keep playing around with it... i remember being a first year and getting scared of that warning sign but i got over it, it doesn't matter how much you play around with it. :)

You can drop anything you want online without getting department permission as long as it's before the online changes cutoff date... Don't bother letting them know in writing. I need to find a way to get rid of maths at 8am.

The course at UNSW is more focused on culture and stuff whereas here it's more focused on economics. So it depends on what you like more, for me I hate economics.

I did Int St at USyd for 1 year and I absolutely hated it. So, um, yeah if that helps. My first preference was always International Studies @ UNSW but I never got it :( my UAI was 0.20 below last year's cutoff (and it's above it by like 0.7 this year grr).
