Which pen for essay type subjects

I was going to make a thread about this last night, but the server was so overcrowded it was killing me. Where are other threads about pens? Or give more replies! I'll go search anyway.

    Help I'm Sick

If you're too sick to do the exam you fill out an Illness and Misadventure Form and submit it to the Board of Studies. If you still want to do the exam but are unwell, you talk to your school and the Presiding Officer of the exams and they will monitor you throughout the exam and submit a...

    Is my Watch Allowed

I don't make the rules. I've just been told at my school that watches that will/may beep are a no-go. Multiple times.

    Is my Watch Allowed

I have a feeling they won't let you because it will disrupt other people. But that might depend on the supervisors or your school or whatever. I would definitely ask a staff member before the english exam.

    Inner Peace - Islam

Sufism definitely relates to inner peace, they are trying to become personally connected with Allah.

    Frontline..

I just went through about three pages of past questions we got in class, and about half of them ask for at least two. Others just say "and other related texts of your choosing" I would definitely say do two, because if you only have one prepared you'll be screwed if they ask for two.

    FAQ - Frontline

Yeah I don't think they have either, that's why I was asking to actually see the question that OP said had been in the HSC. =]

    FAQ - Frontline

I would like to know which HSC exam paper asked for a specific episode, although I doubt OP would still be hanging around. Anyone?

    Year 12 Farewell Song

'Come So Far (Got So Far To Go)' from the Hairspray soundtrack is like the PERFECT song for a graduation. Look up the lyrics. We had Destination Calabria as the song we left our assembly to, basically a last minute choice because the original song we had SUCKED and no one liked it. Someone...

    Is it better....

I definitely think longer study time and longer breaks is the way to go, because you'll find an hour goes really quickly and you'll lose your concentration again and again. I just study and take breaks when I feel like I need to, or finish a certain topic/subject work.

    Question regarding Macquarie Uni

I could have put this in the specific uni forum, but chances are i'll get a relatively biased response. First question - is the Arts course at Macq decent? And International Studies is significantly lower (13 points) than at USyd. Is the course there that bad, or is there some reason why there...

    Internal Assessment Finished!!!

We were finished hrrrm about 10 weeks ago =] Well, not including trials. Trials were 2 weeks ago.

    Parents Divorced

I honestly don't think that a parents divorce is reason enough for a young adult to be given the extra marks. There are definitely points where it should be, like having a sick/disabled relative living with you, but divorce is SO common nowadays that essentially half the people doing the HSC...

    Bachelor of Socio-Legal Studies

Is there anyone around who's actually doing this course?

    CSSA Legal Paper

The focus study questions were surprisingly straightforward, at least the part a) bits, and Crime was pretty good too. We did family and global, and I know I did better in family than in global but I don't think I did that bad with it. Could definitely have been a worse paper.

    Catholic School Trials

General Maths paper today was incredibly easy.

    Red Bull and V

No Doze is pretty good for keeping awake before assessment tasks. I don't use them for exams though. Except one of my friends overdosed once lol she had to go to hospital.

    Catholic School Trials

My exams so far: Eng P1: Thought it was pretty straightforward. Beginning to doubt the competency of my HEAD MARKER english teacher who basically promised us the CSSA Trial would be incredibly difficult Eng P2: Didn't study family drama at all =| Again, teacher said that they wouldn't ask...

    Global Q

That one is pretty difficult to do with specific criteria, and I've found you don't always need to structure it that way anyway. I would just find out what international environmental law has/hasn't been ratified by the Fed. gov't, and/or the extent. Then you'd do legislation resulting from...
