    anyone??

The camp was arranged last year, so for those who finished on the wednesday could leave their bags somewhere in building 2 and look around for a while, and I guess it was similar for those starting on the wednesday, that they could put their bags somewhere, then look around before they had to...

    orientation week...

The main day would be O-day...I think most of the clubs and societies will be present for that day only..the rest of the week would be the seminars, tours and stuff like Erika said.

    orientation camp?

Same! something abt responsibility or whatever :p Accomodation seriously could've been much better...I wouldn't even say 1.5 stars..! But yeah it wasn't all that bad, some instances were fun. I remember the place though, I went to camp there when I was 5 or something.

    orientation camp?

I agree with MoNNiE. It makes your first days of uni more easier 'cause you know some of the people you've met through camp. As for the activities, some were interesting to say the least and some were fun. Its not really team building activities even though there are, but more emphasised to meet...

    Mr Habib released

I agree..his whole family was affected. He was the money provider, and suddenly his oldest teenage son had to take over the responsibility of providing for the family and mature very quickly. I saw them once, and thought that its strong as a family, to cope with all this, a father that was...

    Losing a loved one

I find it hard to tell people who knows the person but doesn't know that anythings happened. I guess it makes you more aware of whats going to happen in the future if your religious. The mindset we get today is that were immune against dying and invincible until we reach old age. We go about...

    accepting offers online

Yeah you can accept your offer online, like the others said. If your not back in time to enrol into your course, you should nominate someone who can go and do it for you when the time comes. Its in the link that superbird gave. You need to get an Authority to enrol form. Its written somewhere...

    Losing a loved one

A cousin, mid last year...same age as me, finished his HSC and was doing tafe in '04. I think all my younger cousins looked up to him, he was great with kids..but we don't talk about it. I don't know how much younger teenage cousins are coping (even though I'd like to know they're ok)...but...

    advice

Like jou said its busy, more busier than someone doing just BE. If you want to do The BEDipE that would add on another year. From what I've seen from friends and thats common is that Med Science and BE you start Med Sci subjects in the first semester. For BE/BB, they usually add make it 5...

    11 march?

I heard some law supps were during january...so I guess it depends on the faculties. Edit: 28th march?! Its 28th Feb, which is only one day before the 1st of march..:p

    School friends vs. Uni friends

Hmm...this is where this thread went. :p Out of my close group of friends, I only still have main contact with one (Maybe meet her about 4 times a semester :p). Due to doing different degrees, diff unis and schedules, I have lost contact with people. Its easier for me to make new close...

    2005 Enrolment - CONTINUING Students

If you failed a Spring 2004 subject you will notice from 4th January, any subjects that you had already enrolled in for 2005 and required the 'failed' subject as a prerequisite, will have been changed from enrolled back to planned. If this has happened you will need to choose another...
