I got a maths tutor once a week and I am pissed off at the money we are wasting on him however my parents wont accept any arguments
Those people with $100 worth of tutors every week, it will accumulate in excess of $5000 during the year.......not really worth it in my opinion
i cant be bothered at the moment
will just put some crap choices down and change it all around when i actually get my uai, might have to pay a fee though but dont see any point in choosing before i get my uai
why is age of silicon so unpopular? Doesn't seem that difficult and I want to study it but the fact that only 2% did it last year is making me cautious
There is not cut off........even if you don't turn up to do your HSC exam it wont affect the rest of your classmates as they will just take you out of the equation
If you are planning on doing drama, extension history and extension 2 english you might get overwhelmed a bit with the major works so maybe it is worth it to give maths a go
At the end of the day its all the same.......only difference is 300 people instead of 10 will get their name in the paper for SDD but none of the SDD students really benefit
The scaling will still be relatively bad and the marking guidelines will still be so sketchy that you have no idea what...
Is anyone doing it?
Had a quick look and it overlaps strongly with my SDD option topic, was considering making the most of it and study that instead of wasting my time with astrophysics
Is anyone doing AOS, doesn't seem to be very popular
Te lazseeker is just about precise when used properly that is people try to predict their percentile rank in the state instead of blindly putting in half yearly marks, or trial marks
I got lost in all the technicalities but my point was that there is no reason for you to concentrate on physics instead of economics as they both scale equally
coming in the 10th percentile (for example) in either of them would give you the exact same UAI
I suggest you do some research dude, economics and physics had exactly the same scaling last year
again your concentrating on the HSC mark (that you got no way of predicting using trial results) you put in and not looking at the percentile
Its the state position and scaled mark columns that...
you know why people come and ask "stupid questions", its because they do what you suggested above and then get worried because it doesn't make any ense
You compare percentile rankings in lazseeker, not marks
putting 85 for standard and advanced english would actually give a higher standard...
about 80......don't let the 4 100s mislead you.........plenty of marks on the other side of the scale as well
as i said overall average turned out to be about 60%
