The Internet is a huge time waster...try not to use it too much. If you need it for an assignment, write down the things you need to research, and then go on it, and set yourself a time-limit (sounds anal, but it really does help). It's waaay too easy to get really distracted and off topic...

From what I gather, any teen-angst issues (drugs, sex, stress, depression, etc) are generally to be avoided unless you have some sort of personal experience driving your PIP (that you wouldn't be uncomfortable talking about). They love PIPs that are both original and personal. Good luck btw...
