What changes to your school would make year 12 easier?

I really have no problems with the Year 11'ers.

    Pens: favourite type, colour etc

Re: blue or black pen? I cannot believe this thread is still going. I better add something on topic. I only use blue because I have a whole load of blue pens which I like using in exam situations because they are easy to write with, non smudgy and relatively comfortable. No point going...

    pulled/torn hamstring.

I guess it depends on how long ago you injured it. If it was like today or yesteday I think it is best to ice and compress it to stop/minimise possible bleeding and swelling then ice it a few times over about the next two days. Give it some light stretching too and avoid doing anything too...

    Year 11 > Year 12

I think that Year 12 is alot more stressful than Year 11. Heck, Year 11 basically means nothing in terms of assessments, so you can cruise through. In retrospect, I would not have put as much effort into Year 11 as I did.

    Subject regret

The only real subject regret I have is doing Extension Maths and not being able to do Extension 2 English.

What does your study area look like? [POST PHOTOS]

I cleaned my study space the day before we went back to school, now there is just paper, books and other random objects everywhere. I probably should clean it again, but meh.

    Time goes by too quickly?

Five months to the HSC from today :D.

Need some female perspective on my situation

I think you hit friendzone. Ask Michael about that.

What changes to your school would make year 12 easier?

Get the up quickly. Driving to school is pretty good, I get an extra half hours sleep, no bus, get home quicker, place to put heavy stuff in (like textbooks). It is a win.

What changes to your school would make year 12 easier?

Lol. How much petrol money are you planning on paying me? However, I would like it if my school created a students car park. There are few spaces close enough on the roads, and few in the car parks around the school. However, there are no obvious available areas fofr a car park. Meh.

    sleep deprivation for HSC students

Afternoon naps FTMFW. Only problem is, if I sleep for too long, I can't get to sleep at night.

    Hillary Clinton OR Barack Obama?

Re: Hillary Clinton, GTFO I agree, Obama probably cannot win without Clinton, her numbers in crucial states are too strong for her to be ignored. However, what are the odds of these two forming a ticket? Sure, it isn't unheard of two bitter enemies forming a strong ticket, like Kennedy and...

    sleep deprivation for HSC students

I do. I think it is only autumn now, I am dreading the really freezing winter mornings, makes a hard task even harder.

    sleep deprivation for HSC students

+1 I get about 7-8 hours sleep, which I think is enough, and I feel extremely tired for a while before I finally perk up. I am not a morning person, to say the very least.

Are you still going to attend school AFTER the trial exams?

I just re-read my post and my words may have come across a little terse. However, the library does not have the teacher on hand to give you a hand if you have problems where as at school all you need to do is put up your hand and get help.

Are you still going to attend school AFTER the trial exams?

What? Seriously, why wouldn't you go? These are probably the biggest exams of your schooling life (yeah, I know they aren't the end of the world) so why wouldn't you want to work your arse off in those weeks, get as much practise as you can for the HSC?

    sleep deprivation for HSC students

I must admit, I wouldn't sleep until I know my work for an assessment, hence why I never leave anything to the last minute, I don't want to go to school on just three hours sleep.

    2008 NRL Premiership

Bird > Hunt at Number 6. However, I agree with above posters, why wasn't Anasta picked for NSW and Prince for QLD? Sure Price may have acted as another halfback, but he has played at five-eighth before, he knows the drill. Had a laugh at the NSW selectors, they said Anasta was not picked...
