BOS... pffft. Who do they think they're kidding. If they want us to not stress, they shouldn't make 13 years of schooling be reflected in the mark of one exam for each of our subjects... and a year's worth of assessments. Then again, what would be the point of going to school if they didn't...

Wouldn't do it. Even if I completely fail this year I would never do it again. Just so much fiddly crap... I'd get sick of it... plus, there's so many pathways into university. You don't really need to do it over again... AND I've read somewhere that only about 5% of people who redo the HSC...

I'm using Wilfred Owen's poem "Dulce Et Decorum Est Pro Patria Mori" and Owen is studied in standard somewhere. My teacher said it would be fine, she's a HSC marker and she said that we're allowed to do it. Plus, frontline is my best module and my that poem links back to frontline really well...

In half-yearly I did a story about a guy whose climbing a mountain whose climbing buddy dies, then he sort of imagines his friend in front of him leading to the top.
