    transistors?

is transistors part of the syllabus, would it be tested? and also the experiment on the release of photoelectrons, where u use that opposing current thingy.

    question

i am gonna explain it!! here it is, try to understand. in newtonian physics u learn to add vectors and minus vectors. but in einsteins explaination speed of light is constant but at the same time do not contradict newtonian physics. This is because time and space is now a variable. so...

I Know Whats In The Hsc Exam!!

na, your wrong. well the second part is.

    please help!

so which explaination is right? its the length contract and time contract separated, having to do two calculation useing that formula VS time dialation, causing the measured time to shorten, thus distance also contract. use the formula for time dialation and sub in the time times speed...

I Know Whats In The Hsc Exam!!

but in my notes and stuff there has being no structure for citric acid. there isn;t even any for HCL or CH3COOH.

    Cellulose struture.

k thanks, and the CH2OH and the OH bonding would be zigzag to each other right?

I Know Whats In The Hsc Exam!!

oh i get it, the sulfuric acid don't lower activision it just make it reach equiliburium faster by dehydrating out water. the reflux lower activation energy, cause the energy needed is too great so using reflux we can achieve such activation energy with lower heat from the bunsen

I Know Whats In The Hsc Exam!!

u need to know the damn structure? not for citric acid... thats like so long.
  13. Haku

    please help!

length contraction is a BS concept. the length to the rocket contract due to the dialation of time. first u find out the time needed to travel by time dialation formula, and use that time to calculate the distance that the rocket record. i agree with serge.

    Cellulose struture.

so say the polymer chain is 6 glucose monomer long, than that means there would be 5 water condensed out right?

    Need for collaboration

what are the needs for scientists to collaborate?

I Know Whats In The Hsc Exam!!

whats the last dot point? and how does having sulfuric acid affect the activation energy of esterification?
  17. Haku

    Cellulose struture.

i kinda know how to draw cellulose, and form ur description i am pretty sure i know starch too. for the polymerisation of glucose to cellulose, for every addition of glucoses monomer would there be an extra water molecule condensed out?

How much does prelim get tested in the HSC?

YES, another supporter of stuff year 11 chem

    Some Tips

the questions in the 2003 paper was really challenging. i did them today and they were really bad. though for chem the paper is still good. can u post of questions testing on application of what we learnt in around 4-6 mark questions not just regurgitation.
