what do you mean by difficult combination? like the subjects are so different? i'm interested in chemical engineering cause of the chemistry part of it and engineering has maths.. which i also like... compared with commerce which doesnt have any of that.

I'm in Year 12 and i feel kind of confident that i would make it into Commerce at UNSW.. so i'm wondering whether it would be worth doing a combined degree with the normal commerce.. like science and engineering mainly. I read something that it would differentiate me from the rest of the crowd...

so would the commerce/engineering degree be worth it? since it is 5.5years compared with commerce/science and normal commerce degree which are both 4years. because it seems to be like long trek if i was to do commerce/engineering but end up at the same place if i was to do commerce/science.

If I was looking to do Commerce/Science and looking to do finance.. would the combined science lead me to working in science companies? cause I think I heard that if you combined commerce/engineering, they usually worked in engineering companies.. it might be all rubbish.. thats why i'm asking

Last time i used it.. my english extension took out one unit of chemistry.. when I know obviously my english advanced is worse than my chemistry.. it lost my trust

^ can you explain that? Cause my school assessment mark is 74% and i'm coming 5th in my year so would that scale proportionally or am i going to be screwed over by that.. and lets say.. i'll get 85 for this exam.. which would scale to 90? then my average of the two would be pretty.. low?
