I use eBay sometimes, but carefully.
I've never had a bad experience or been ripped off...
I've bought vintage clothes, regular clothes, a playstation & some games, a pair of doc martens for $30... I love eBay.
I'm going to second the Lucas' paw paw ointment. It's the only thing that really works for me when my lips get bad.
It comes in bright red pots or tubes, and is sold at chemists and stuff.
My favourite perfume is Oceanus by the Body Shop.
It just smells weird when I smell it on its own, but on my skin when it mixes with my own scent I love it. MMmm.
I went to a hairdresser on a whim the other day!
I went from being blonde to dark brown with light blonde streaks placed randomly in my hair. They also cut it a bit more too, it's shoulder length and layered.
Yay, hair.
I think you should talk to her about it, it doesn't sound fair. Tell her if she doesn't like cheap food then she shall have to help pay for her expensive stuff.
Maybe it's just me, but I hate when the guy pays all the time, I feel so uncomfortable, and whenever he insists on paying then I try...
I say go for it.
A few years ago, about halfway through year 12 I decided I hated my elbow-length hair, had it cut to my chin and LOVED it. The only thing I regret is not getting it done sooner.
It was easier to maintain, I found. I have wavy hair and I wear it straight or wavy. If I wanted to...
I had no idea there Myer had a sale on until today.
I went in there just to have a look and ended up buying the cutest gumboots, $35, marked down from $60!
It was a happy day for me.
I don't have any exams! I do have an essay due next week, but pfft.
So I have extra time off, yay.
So far I've just been bumming around with my friends (including the lovely Miss Wendy) and sleeping.
Mm and drinking is definitely going to be a factor in my week.
I got so annoyed that Jack Nicholson was cast as McMurphy because he didn't fit the physical description that the author has gone to pains to express... haven't actually seen the movie though, so I can't say anything else about it.
But yeah, books are better than the movie about 99% of the...
I do Creative Writing at university so I'm always writing random shit for class and stuff...
This was my favourite poem that I wrote for my latest assignment... constructive criticism v. welcome.
self portrait
gobble down black jellybeans and
swish swish my mermaid hair.
I’d gamble...
I made an earring holder by taking the glass out of a picture frame and stapling some tulle to it. I superglued on some butterflies to make it all pretty, and I hang all my earrings from it, both studs and danglys.
I hate those chandelier earrings - sorry kids.
I like some dangly ones though, and also some studs, depends on the style.
I like those zipper ones they were selling a while ago at places like Diva, and I love quirky kitschy earrings like these ones...
Younger would depend on their level of maturity... I'd say two years younger would be my max, and five older. I dunno, I'm friends with some twenty-somethings (twenty three-fourish), but right now I couldn't date them, they're just too... adult for me.
We're taught the technical aspects of creative writing, the history of creative writing, and the philosophy behind it (and don't say there isn't any philosophy behind it, there's a fuckload).
And we're taught things like editing, and how to write things like screenplays and such. And in...
I dunno where I'm meant to ask questions of this nature but I figured that being UoW student's you'd have some idea of the area.
Is there anywhere in Wollongong I can buy bubble/taro tea?
I'm an ignorant white girl who just tried it today in Sydney, and I've decided I want more of it, and...
