    Transition to selective

It depends on the person you are and what school your planning to change into. Some people can adapt to theif environment fairly quickly, while others take a long time. If you are seeking for a more competitive atmosphere and you are comfortable in changing schools, then change just like i did...

    Transition to selective

Yes i agree. If you are performing well at your current school and your feel that your confortable in your posisiton, then by all means stay at your current school. By achieving the top ranks, moderation will not affect you much at all and therefore its purely based on how well you perform...

    Transition to selective

Overall the selective high school tests for year 11 is slightly harder than that of the school certificate. For me , english had comprehension and a extended response, which was not extremely difficult. Maths however included topics not yet covered in most schools based on the sylabis due...

    extx 1 maths nightmare

moving from year 10-11 is a big step, and marks will fall. If ur marks for ext picks up..then u keep it as it is a big help in the HSC year, but if it remains lower then u should probably drop it.

    Picking up 4 unit?

lol i woudlnt mind picking up 4 unit. but its the fact i have to drop a subject in order to pick it up. so if i end up stuffing up 4 unit maths, and i drop it, i would end up with 11units and therefore agriculture (compulsory subject) will count and considering im not so keen on ag, it might...

    Picking up 4 unit?

For a person picking up 4 unit in year 12 and currently doing 2-3 unit maths, is there any recommendations that anyone can give if someone is unsure about picking up 4 unit? I feel that the 2-3 course is moving quite slowly, and if i am to pick up 4 unit in year 12, i would have to handle harder...

should i choose computer studies for year 11 or will it just scale my mark down

choose a subject that -you are interested in -your are strong in -has something to do with your prefered uni course do not let scaling, teachers or peer pressure affect your decision.

    Half Yearly Exams!

I had my half yearlies last week and this week. I stuffed maths up big time cause i had a mental blank during the exam so i got under 80 percent for sure. Agriculture and economics were pretty easy. I still have to do english, physics and chem which i need to cram for -_-.

which 1 is a good school to attend

I used to go to Patrician Brothers, and my sister currently attends Mary Mackillop at Wakeley. I would say patrician brothers fairfield is a fairly prestigous school, in its area and is definitely a choice to consider. Pats fairfield came second in 2004 behind sefton and was ranked 131. MMC was...

    How are 07's finding prelim?

i moved to a selective school this year...but funnily enough...i think the workload has dramatically decreased from year 10 >< I dunno if its the school, or the fact that i enjoy most of my subjects...but i seem to find myself becoming more lazy...which is not a good sign -_-
