I did the HSC exam as practice right before the 2 unit trials and my mark in that was lower then in my trials.......don't expect the HSC to be much easier
A bit of topic but why is the 3 unit test 2 hours while the 2 unit one is an hour more?
I usually sleep during the last hour of a 2 unit test but in the 3 unit ones I can barely reach the 7th question in 2 hours......is 'speed' maths a component of the 3 unit syllabus?
i passed but i do 3 unit......don't be depressed if you didnt do that well.......there is still the hsc which in the end counts a hell of a lot more then the trials which are just a final adjustment of the ranking and viewed by many as simply a dress rehearsal
Doing your home work is studying. If you do all home work throughout the easier you wouldnt really need to study.......just light revision
I am talking about the people who say their totally screwed before an exam and act like they wont get anywhere near 50% yet when the results come...
I think the HSC is harder.......thing is you have a lot more time to study for the HSC compared to trials
I got 73%.......my highest mark for the year in ext 1
Interesting responces......
I plan to get "back into it" to except that I never got into it in the first place I crammed for the trials just like I have for every test since year 7 :D
But I actually do plan to study for the HSC.....the only way I am going to do that is by imagining I have...
most of the people who say they dont study yet get good marks are the ones who actually study the most
The only subject you might need talent in is english because a lot of it comes down to a good writing style + the ability to think on the spot but even then your writing style would improve...
its not that far fetched.......ive never seen any production of lear and in the test when it asked how 2 scenes can be presented it was a case of both imagination/stuff ive read critics say
but thats just me, probably shouldnt have slept through the video of lear in class
i think in year 12 he did..........
4 unit maths, 4 unit english, economics, physics, chemistry, philosophy, cosmology
but in year 11 he accelerated in 3 unit computing and 3 unit agriculture
24 units all up
I would go as far as choosing 3 unit even if you know your going to go bad in it because even if your getting 10% in 3 unit you still have a major advantage over the 2 unit maths people
