Low 90s. You'll probably perform well in Maths anyways, since I'm a former 2012 student at CVHS with two thirds got Band 5's and 6s, but again what others say, try to boost your Maths rank. Your English rank is also good, I came 19/129 for the half yearlies report assessment rank and 7/129 for...
Try improving your English, Maths, and S&C marks. I don't think you can get 90s or above, but maybe 80s at this stage. What ever course/uni you're intending to go/do, bonus points may apply so don't worry too much.
If you keep this rank til the trials, you might have end up here:
With those ranks, its a high chance that you cannot achieve that ATAR. However, you can at least get in the 80s (you have to do very well from now) and apply for EAS (if you're eligible) or HSC bonus points (I assume UNSW Engineering).
Otherwise:
But seriously, TAFE or College (very expensive) are options you can take, then transfer into a uni. Also, if you are disadvantaged in any possible way, then maybes apply for EAS, because I certainly do know someone who got into UTS (B.Sci/B.Bus) with low 80s that high late 80s.
Indeed what other people say. Most famous film directors including Stanley Kubrick and Quentin Tarantino never went into higher tertiary education because their marks were too low (don't know about Tarantino, but Kubrick did not make it!). Perhaps directors like these are born creative...
I'm in a same dilemma as well...
I think with the Co-op bookstore (I don't know about UNSW bookstore though), we type in a unit code into the search preference and it will show up a or a list of textbooks for that particular unit. Even so, it's probably best to wait until the first week of uni...
Unless you would want to subscribed to SMH online newspapers, which is $1 for the first 4 weeks, then the right approximate charge is given from that point on-wards. You can then view the previous newspapers online.
Damn, I only enroll into Bachelor of Science in Information Technology only and not Bachelor of Business combined cause I was worried that I wouldn't make the cutoff for this year. Biggest regret in my life! =[
