yeh i did my 2u assessments uptil my trials... they would have been used had i dropped down to 3u.

it depends what you have to do, you can use recent stuff if you put it in your work, ie feature article, informal letter, or something creative... although i was told to stick to contextually related materials, her letter to her mother....her diary...even her poems, which are directly related...
