haha yeh before the test i was like "i'm just praying they ask like assess religious developments over the 18th dynasty" but a question just on akhenaten was pretty sweet too :)

yeh i'd rather know i wrote as much as possible in the time allowed rather than getting my mark back and thinking "hmm maybe i should've tried to bullshit some more marks instead of leaving early..."

well i'm gonna have some ceremonial burning after my last exam for each subject...but then i don't know! it feels like such a waste...i don't know what i'll do! probs end up recycling it. my boyfriend finished last year and he still has all of his haha.

+1. seriously, just work on assessments for now and get awesome internal ranks. that's all that matters by the time you get to the star of the hsc. trials is going to burn you all out so bad regardless so relax while you can! i mean, go ahead and do summaries or past papers or whatever works...

i did amenhotep III - ramses II part a about akhenaten's 'revolution' it was kinda crappy writing 50 marks on him coz he's also my personality but hey, i knew about 5 marks worth on kadesh! my essay was a bit all over the place but oh well, hopefully 20+.

finished with about a min and a half to spare so i started filling in my booklets. one girl left at about 11am, a couple in the last hour, but mostly everyone at my school was there til the end. i think 3 hours is good for ancient, if anything modern should be like half an hour more, i was so...

haha minoans also. we've had the damn frescoes question for assessment, half-yearly and trial so i better get 8! i blabbed on so much about each section so hoping for 23+! haha oh phaistos disc, so glad i learnt about you for the first time THIS MORNING! haha so lucky. i like the 2, 3, 8, 12...

akhenaten was kinda gay! relo to the aten? i bullshitted kinda and just threw in as many random points as i could haha. building policies...never looked at that specifically but i kinda knew enough about his early karnak and nubia stuff and then akhetaten so blabbed on about his new city...they...

pretty standard stuff! i just threw everything i could think of into the last question- mainly bisel, fiorelli, lazer and herculaneum conservation project (so i could relate the picture) and yeh, streetscapes and amphitheatre were kinda specific but i think i did okay on them :)

overall a hell of a lot better than i expected! i'm happy :) although 50 marks on akhenaten was a bit crazy lol. and yeh, about a quarter at my school left early. one girl left at 1.5 hour mark...like really?! that's what 2 years of ancient is worth to ya?
