Thanks Hannie, i'll go study the environment one further..someone told me yesterday that that was a goo text to use. I was also told not to use both the door and sky high, because markers dont like it cos 90% of the state does that. is this true u guys think?

oh wow thanks! I've been using sky high all this time, and i never felt like i could really link it to my place. i hate poetry, so thats why i never used the door, but ill make an effort...very quicky, seeing as the hsc is in a week...YIKES!! Thanks a lot!

yugh, brecht. I do irish, so it really isn't any better... all i remember about brecht from year 11 was that he used alienation and epic theatre. thats it :S Good luck though :D

They tend to like you relating the text to your own experience on the stage with it, like in class. if you say, "during a class workshop blah blah blah..." and then put in a quote, you should be fine. But just a question, what exactly are we supposed to know? I mean, for every other subject...

i make notes according to the syllabus. theres a reason theres a syllabus, yknow! then i just read through them heaps, and finally, lots and lots of past papers. the trick with essays though, is to write them out in 40-45 minutes, like u would in an exam. u just prepare urself so much better...
