hey kids
we all have to do 4 sections...
personality
ancient society
historical period
extra society or period
now, i'm doing 1 historical period - greek world 500-440... and as my extra, i'm doing a historical period - romes wars of expansion.
on the exam paper, you have the...
Go look at the syllabus :)
know the punic wars in detail, the life and details of all the main leaders (flaminius, cato the elder, fabius maximus, scipio africanus, hannibal) and get a quote for each... you'll be set imho
I go to TAFE too, and I'll vouch for the assessments being as hard as a private school. In fact, a couple of our english assessments were first year uni assignments that our teacher used.
TAFE do the independent schools trial papers.
Are you doing advanced english or standard, and...
a mate of mine's year went to the fish markets
said they'd take away guts + heads for free
littered a few garbage bags worth throughout the school
the shit really hit the fan after that...
I do have an account, so cheers for the offer Laz. Unfortunately, the reason I gave up on the accuracy test is I realised I have no record of my marks! In a fit of teenage angst I burnt them, vowing never to return to any form of educational institution...
So I wouldn't know what to put in...
^ Ya huh...
It gave me the shits initially, because I wanted to test it's accuracy on my 2001 UAI... But because I did different subjects to this year, I can't...
i bought it :P
but then i did have a full time job till feburary this year...
tell me your subjects and if they're close to mine ill punch it in for you...
i got 96% for the independent schools trial, so i guess my advice must count for something.
teach things to other people. ask a family member for an hour of their time, and teach them everything you can about a particular topic... get them to ask question too, and clarify where you're not...
^ believe me i know, i'm repeating ;p
i am studying everything in the syllabus. i was just so mystified by my fellow students actions i had to ask if it was common practice to be so stupid :)
just wanted to ask if anyone out there has done the following...
looked at the 2001 & 2002 hsc exams on a particular section of one of their subjects and noticed they've covered different sections of the dot point?
for example in geography under 'urban places' there's 3 bits - mega...
I know "hermitism" isn't a word, but I'm sure you all get my drift.
I want a UAI 95+, and I just got two dissapointing trial exam marks back... The other 3 were good though.
I've tampered with the idea before, but now I know I need to become a hermit for the next few months till the HSC is...
I wrote 2 and a 1/2 pages for section 2... Took me 25 minutes, because I was sitting there trying to kickstart my fucking brain...
But yer, I feel like I screwed up that section too.
:)
