ANU phB students do a science honours degree in 3 years (or have the option to) And they need a HD average to stay in the degree.

I'd pick electrical. Electrical has a much broader spectrum and you could probably pick up mechatronics electives in your electrical engineering degree. Electrical engineers can go for mechatronic jobs, but its harder the other way round. Best to stick to the standard disciplines like...

You've never failed until you get the rejection (even then its not really a fail). I turned up 30-40mins late for an interview (signal failure on trains) and still made it (35ppl got picked out of 1700), so you really never know! It does take time to perfect interview technique, it's normal...

Um no, commerce does not have financial maths. I have done both and finance is a walk in the path compared to maths. Actually Maths is highly renowned in industry.

None. Commerce is way too theoretical and really fills your head with crap with regards to trading/investing/making money. Learn yourself.
