    uncomfortable chairs

Tell me about it! Every five minutes someone taps you on the shoulder and asks if you can pick up a pen that flew off the table. Also people play footsies retrieving their stationary.

    2003 Exam, Question 8 - Finally resolved!

No harm intended, pardon me I have said, that I have not gone against your justification that not all contracts are verbal. But your justification is irrelevant to the argument. The issue is not whether a contract is written or verbal, but whether a contract exists. Its a question that...

    Treason and sedition cases

I have not seen anyone been charged with overturning our Government - Hicks is an International Law issue dealing with criminal offences at the International Level, the act was not in Australia so if it were treason, it would not be an Australian offence. Sedition is much harder, as sedition...

    2003 Exam, Question 8 - Finally resolved!

WRONG! I know that contracts under the Sales of Goods Act and TPA don't have to be written, I never made that claim. I stated, that there is no verbal or written contract under law between the manufacturer and the consumer. If your claim is true, then Chris would have gone back to the...

    2003 Exam, Question 8 - Finally resolved!

Firstly let me confirm. Torts is where we remedy civil wrongs, we need to litigate for damages, if no damage has been caused it is a little hard to sue. But one could argue that Chris suffered mental trauma from seeing the metal in her cereal, there ismore possibilty of that than suing on a...

Partition to Change the Uni name

This makes no sense. The University is not in Gough Whitlam, nor did Whitlam do much. If you praise him so much, then you should also praise the introduction of students fees by the Labor Government.

    2003 Exam, Question 8 - Finally resolved!

After checking with many law students, I am still convinced that it was not Contract Law. If Chris took the cereal back and the supplier said that they would not refund, then that would be contract law as the supplier has not met all the elements of a contract, but seeing its the manufacturer...

    illegally parked vehicle lol

Parking fines are official at UWS, the security officers have the powers under the University by-laws and state legislation to fine people for abusing parking requirements. My father, a Highway Patrol officer in the NSW Police himself, asked one of the Security Guards.

    Class Participation

See it as 10 easy marks. Even if you get full marks in Assignments and exams, you would still get 90% - meaning a high distinction.

    Student Union Fees $316.80

Apparently we have paid for them already when enrolled through HECS of Fee. But there is something else. This is pathetic, they complain at the slightest rise in degrees at uni, yet they have no hesitations making people compulsory pay to be in the Unions.

    Chicks

Well that's true we can't all read books all the time, we need a break. But is it fair to question anyione's beauty in public - a bit person and innapropriate I would think.
