alot of the books such as Secrets of Vesuvias ( by Cameron and Lawless ) , and Pompeii and Herculaneum ( by brennan and lazer ) have good information about the economy and industries such as metal working , wine, agriculture, textile etc.
God this forum seems dead! Any one here doing year 12 continuers? Any anglo saxons doing it? I have my reading and listening test tomorow buggger... i HATE listening its so fricken hard.

i am also doing those two texts and linking them to the tempest. I find that the two are very compatible with each other, however you have to stretch a bit to link them with the tempest.
I've enjoyed doing them as related texts though :)
gah its so much EASIER for the chinese people who do continuers, because they understand grammar, and pick up the language and vocab so much easier then us non chinese anglo saxons doing the course!
