my trick was to have two windows - and just refresh on each one - if something started timing out, i would then go to the other window and hit log in (as one screen times out, i guess a connection opens - so grab it) and then just worked my way through it for about 10 minutes this way and got it...

I'm on ADSL2+ so we're both on solid connections - its the uni that's flaky - I feel sorry for people on dial-up

whatever they were doing before worked but now it's just completely vanished - no green, no error just giant 'Service Unavailable' in plain text suggesting the whole 'application' is offline I'm glad i'm not a techie today

Yeah - I was thinking they were being Apple-phobic but it seems everyone on all platforms and browsers are messed up It's just a Samsung 17" lcd monitor (secondary display on desktop) which now doubles as a screen for HDTV I called the 1800 number again, still getting the business hours...
