    ESSAY QUESTION..Explain?

I think if you need other people to explain it to you, you don't have a huge chance of winning that competition...

    The 8th Ofnovember?!?!

I think it sucks that for pretty much all my other exams, I have about a day between each, yet I have over a week between Bio (my second last) and Legal (my last). I'd prefer for them all to be a bit more spread out, but I still think it's great that I have so long to study for legal! Heh. :)

    hsc subjects

If I were you i'd just go for eng, math, buisness, legal and bio. If you wanna work in childcare, then I suggest just doing your diploma or whatever after the hsc...

Question: Stuff Needed for Yr 12?

I think you will need to know the basics of Chemistry. I changed over to Chem from Society and Culture halfway through year 11, and I had a lot of trouble grasping everything, and I think it would be a LOT of work

If you could go back to...

Ah, that sucks. Thats pretty much how it is in Gen Maths at my school :(

If you could go back to...

I would have chosen Chemistry instead of Society and Culture. Oh god, what was I thinking?!?! Worst. Subject. Ever. I ended up changing to Chemistry half way through the year, anyway, but it meant I missed out on soo much work, and so I wasn't very confident, making me feel the need to change to...

    hsc subjects

Pretty high, if you do well. I dropped Chem for Sc Science, manly because I was sure I could get much better marks in it, and I've been doing really well. If I'd kept up with Chem, I know there would have been a LOT more work for me to do, and I wanted to keep my hsc year as stress-free as I...

Is anyone else over the HSC?

What kind of pages though? I generally can just manage 4 average pages, however for our trials, we got proper bos answer booklets, in which the lines are big etc, and I got around 8-8.5 pages for my journeys pers reflec. It felt so good being able to say I wrote over 8 pages! Haha.

What music do you listen to whilst studying?

I generally can't. I find it distracts me too much. Though sometimes my boyfriend will put on music (we live together), and I just sort of ignore it. But if I ever listen to my music I find it distracts me a lot (espec vocals) and I can't turn it off cos it's soo quiet without it once I start...

Early morning Vs. Late night Studying...

MUCH prefer getting up early and studying. If I'm staying up I keep thinking to myself "I should be asleep right now!" But once I'm up in the morning... I'm up. :) And I like mornings. You just have to get used to them, and I feel much fresher and more alert and productive etc. :) I haven't done...

Senior marker isnt fond of RAGAD abbreviation?

I really, really don't suggest that, unless it's a short title. It does NOT look like you've written more, and you really want to get the most you can out of an essay (or pers reflection etc - whatever you're doing), not writing less, trying to make it look like you've done more, because the...

Senior marker isnt fond of RAGAD abbreviation?

My eng teacher told me that abbreviations are distracting from the writing or something... And told me off for writing "comm. current affairs" in my frontline assessment, even though I'd already used the whole word in the intro! Yeah, "Ros and Guil" is fine. I never used RAGAD anyway, it was...

In Deseparate Need Of Help: Frontline

There's nothing wrong with using Prelim texts for the hsc, I did Grays "Journey: The North Coast" as an additional text for journeys and quite a few people did P&P, both of which we studied for personal insight in year 11. Another example is the Truman Show, or 1984 etc which were used in the...

    Frontline Introduction.

Just start with a general statement about the truth and how it can be presented (relating to your texts - falsified, misrepresented, hyperbolic, highly subjective etc), and go on to introduce your texts etc

lowest possible english mark to get over 90UAI

Ugh yeah, I have the same problem. I worked out my averages for assessment marks etc, and its only 60% for english while its mid-high 80s for all my other subjects (legal, maths, bio, senior science), so I'm aiming to get band 6 for everything else, while working up my english to hopefully...

    . : : Uai Estimate Plz : : .

Hehe. Me too. Mine are tomorrow, too.... And... I've barely studied at all. Done some of those multiple choice tests on the board of studies website for legal and am pretty confident with that, but that's about it! Gonk! Ah well. We'll see.
