i'm over the initial hype of uni.....its gr8, sure....but i'm not exactly going 'YAY! I've got sociology next!' Dont get me wrong- i'm not saying that i hate it or am bored with it...but now i realise that it isnt such a big deal after all........ (ok, yes i may be slow....)

i'm in the one at 2pm in W5C.....where we were told that the tute was too full and were asked if we wanted to move to another one at another place..... but i was staying put! lol

yeah, there was this mature age student in my ENGL120 who didnt seem to no what he was talking about.....when we were discussing the Chaucer poem, he was bringing up connotations about adam and eve..... i was like riiigghhhttt......sorta felt sorry for him- making a fool out of himself

yeah thats true....esp first yr at macquarie...bascially everyone has certain basic subjects to do...but then they choose their own interest subjects.....i've only met 2 ppl actually doing creative arts..and not one person doing creative writing as of yet... the majority of ppl i've met are...

i'm actually surprised that each lecture only goes for 1 hour..well for most of my classes neway.....i mean..hardly anyhting at all can be covered in that time! i have been able to retype my lecture notes from one hour onto a single page in size 12 or 11 font. That isnt too bad i reckon!

is anyone who doesnt like uni go to macquarie? Cos so far i havent heard of anyone who isnt satisfied there.... Spin spin, yeah i no that uai has nothing to do with course difficulty.....but wouldnt it be stupid to allow ppl who can only manage a uai of 50 to get into sumthing like medicine...

well i'm loving uni!! Mind u, i have always been a workaholic and doing all the work on my own doesnt really worry me- i love a challenge! Uni is just the next big step in my life...i'm glad i'm not getting spoonfed- the real world isnt like that- everyone's on their own in the workforce...or...

i am pissed off about work! i have a casual job at the small local cinemas...and i've woorked 3 hours in 4 weeks! thats all they've given me!! then i thought i had a good job at a bowling club- but i ring up today and they tell me i'm not needed this week!!! arrgggh!!! i need the money...

actaully i went to a public school....but it was a senior high so we had special attention :) it hasnt been such a jump for me..considering for a lot of my subjects i ended up teaching myself neways!

thats a same really....ppl would contribute so much more if all subjects were on the net...esp the shy ppl ( not that i'm one of them) who don't get the chance to have a say in tutes!
