I think the inflation in UAI for courses such as Law and Medicine are because of students from overseas (they work very very hard).

In theory, these people who claim that they have met the requirements for Commerce i.e the UAI perhaps did not put Commerce at UNSW higher in their preference list.

I got into Commerce at UNSW but not at USYD even though I had it one preference higher.

I just wanted to know why I didnt get into Commerce at USYD cause it has a lower uai requirement than UNSW's Commerce. I achieved a UAI of 94.xx but I also have EAS.

I didnt get into the course I wanted and so I want to know why my qualifications were not sufficient for such and such course I put on the top of my preference list. Who do I ask? UAC or the faculty of the university?

And how can you compare the standard of teaching? Through the students?

Looks like USYD >UNSW in Commerce now.

What are you afraid of?

I got into B.Commerce at UNSW and will be doing Commerce/Science this year. Applying is very confusing and I still have to get my tax file number.
