This Years Vs. Last Years Paper.. And Alignment

I reckon what Seed_Strife said is pretty fair... last year's paper the questions were easy up to about 6-7... and then got hard. Whereas this year they were hard throughout but question 10 was a bit easier. Well, that's what I think anyway...

    SEction IV question 27/28

Q27 you'd be talking more about global finance management strategies, because that's what hte question was asking. Q28 was asking specifically about Sources of Funds.. and if you look under the syllabus at Topic 2 that's Debt/Equity financing etc...

    dodgy MC question

I would say it's A... if government spends on Uni places (i.e. more HECS places because these are government funded), there are a greater proportion of HECS places to those paying full fees for Uni. This makes the distribution of income better as it benefits low income earners. So i'd say it...

    SEction IV question 27/28

    Q9b - Acceleration-time graph

for (i) I got t = 2 because if you draw the velocity from that it looks like a maximum. Looks like I got that one right. For (ii) I had nfi so I just guessed that it was t = 1

    Probability Question

    Not sure if anyone has said this yet but I think the answer is: 1 - P(Sum isn't less than 45) = 1 - (1/36 * 1/36) = 1 - 1/1296 = 1295/1296

I think it's better if they give a hard exam....makes it easy to differentiate yourself from the rest of the state if u know your shit. If you don't, however, it gets a bit tricky :)

Thinking of filming doco about hsc stress for bos & urging a change from current form

They should base it on IQ to eradicate the dense people who have a tutor for all subjects and study 24/7. :) They have to discriminate between us somehow, so I think IQ is probably the fairest method. :)
