    Engineering?

You should be ok with just 2u. There are no prerequisites to get into Engineering so dont worry. Just work hard when you're in uni.

Differentials between personal and industrious trading?

Most traders have a math background. I dont think any back office jobs require university maths. Optiver is not a great example to use. As they are just a prop shop.

Best Finance School For North American International Students

If you are looking at trading or quant developer positions (will need a phd for true quant positions) then probably a masters in hard science will help or maybe the quant finance program at UTS and UNSW. A masters in finance etc will probably shift you more towards the ibanking side, but you...

    BCom/BSc or actuarial studies/finance?

Umm well we are talking about actuaries here. Not doctors, research scientists or engineers. Nothing real special about actuaries. And there is not that much about trading that can be learnt at uni anyway.

    BCom/BSc or actuarial studies/finance?

dark.deceptionz, while your marks maybe good, your attitude towards others is pretty shit. It might help to stop prancing around like a princess.

Best Finance School For North American International Students

Firstly you need to make up your mind about what you want to work as. The jobs you listed are fundamentally different and it's hard to recommend a degree program when your aims for employment are so broad. I.e. A UTS quant finance would be well recognised by quants, whereas as UTS MFin is not...

    BCom/BSc or actuarial studies/finance?

Well you can be an actuary with a BCom/Bsc (maths or stats). I'd probably do the BCom/BSc. More breadth.

    post grad jobs

Get a job. Employers need to know you can work in a team, and are easy to work with etc. Also getting a job will fill up your resume and ensure the interviewers have something to talk about during your interview. Furthermore, it will make you look less green.

    Banking internships 2009/10

Not bad. Most companies have cut back on that. Last company I worked for used to put up interns in 5 star hotels for 3 months for free. Shame that's changed now!

    Banking internships 2009/10

Interesting to take someone with IBD and Audit experience for prop trading. They are all completely different skill sets. Along with a non quant degree - must have interviewed very well/have a good CV. Do you they put you up in a hotel for 2-3 months?
