i bought a laptop (the one on the front page of the officeworks catalogue :)) but i think that will be mainly used for typing up assignments and notes and things. for me, it's like starting yr 11 all over again, i say i'm going to be organised but i know deep down, it will last for about...

look at what the course offers, and see if they cater for what you want. UWS is bigger but doesn't necessarily mean better, depending on the area. ACU is also national - there are campuses in Victoria and Queensland :) Don't know what that has to do with it, but i'd thought i'd mention it...

i'd say it depends on the course. for education, i'd say it's better because ACU actually HAS the course :mad:

well ACU has B Ed (Primary) and UWS doesn't. :rolleyes: ACU is highly rated for employment opportunities and field experience, as well as the student:teacher ratio. :uhhuh:

lol, it's a big warehouse that holds records for banks, rta (yes i can look up who failed their p's!!), hospitals, heaps of other places. i'm not sure if we actually hold exam papers and student details and stuff like that, but they're on our system. :D i also found out we archive uac...

they send to a records management place (like where i work, which has bos documents!!! :D) and archive them. :uhhuh:

i think most of them opened around august/september - a little before the on time preferences were due. :)

are people really that disappointed they "didn't get much" for getting dux?? shouldn't the emphasis be placed on your actual achievements, rather than "how much/little" you got?? just an observation... :rolleyes:

our local paper did a plug on our local results so i got my name in the paper again!! :D

i got 93 for my hsc mark. i doubt that i would have barely scraped a pass in the exam. :) (that is, that i think i did better than that, just to clarify!!)

my ret was 89 and my uai was 90.3. so i wouldn't have used it anyway, but they cancelled the course i did the ret for in the first place!! grrrr....

what do you mean, to do your uai justice?? you don't have to use all of the points, just make sure you're choosing a course that you're interested in. you're lucky, like me, because your uai actually gives you some flexibility for those low 80s courses. :uhhuh:

personally, i wouldn't take my chances, but i don't know the rules, so.... :o couldn't you be working while you went to uni anyway?? and also get Youth Allowance or Austudy (i'm not totally sure what each entails...)

i'm not worried about my actual exam marks, but i would love to know what i got for my PIP (Society and Culture). however, i'm not sure if they would be able to look that up because, unlike the exams, we actually get our PIPs back, untouched. :) any ideas??

so what does each column mean... except the obvious ones :s what is DA and what does the % signify??? (my guess is # Distinction Awards and % is how many got one) and is that ALL the schools in the state??
