well...if you do a medical degree you can still become involved in politics (e.g. joining the WHO) or epidemiology and change the lives of others in a macrological scale...but yeah, whatever floats your boat, I wish u all the best matey :)

true...on rural week i went to latrobe regional hospital and the head nurse there said that if you're nice to the they'll let u do cool stuff and bend over backwards for you...i'm sure that 15 years of experience can't go astray :)

many students at monash (like at UNSW) complained that the courses had been "dumbed down" because of these elements, but thats the way it is in most unis because the courses must move in line with societys...
i dont know what u mean by "attachments" as such...u mean where we do most of our clinical examiation? that could be monash medical centre or the alfred hospital
