Exactly what stamos said. I think UOW is a fantastic law school but when law schools (or schools in general) are discussed overseas it doesn't even bare mention. Nor does UNSW. It might be in the Group of 8, but that doesn't mean if you mention it to someone overseas they're gonna recognise...

Yeah it can take a while to make friends. I ended up meeting my 'group' of uni friends through group work. I find education students make friends straight away cos its like high school for them....they do all their classes together...

I'll just add that that UOW has a 4 year undergrad program that includes an honours thesis or the PLT course. Not that Im recommending going there for an overseas student.....for an overseas student I would recommend ANU, Usyd or UMelb......the only Australian unis that are really recognised...
