True, each to their own, no point working if you don't enjoy it. But a friend who works with some ibankers, says most of the ones he has met, really get off on deals.
Probably because of their pay cheque, who knows. :p
Talking to yourself? Im sure they are good. Ask Seraphim, he will know after this summer.
A few are AMP Capital Investors, NABCapital etc. They are on the same tier.

More like $80k + 50-120% bonus, and going in most weekends.
Unless you're in markets which is much better in the 'hours' department. 50-60 hours a week.
Btw, congrats Staz :) Knew you would get it.

UNSW don't care about the accumulating 180 marks. Im sure they will let you do it anyway. UNSW Maths department is quite flexible and you can enrol online without any hassles. Last time I checked anyway.
Re: internships 07
Apparently Deutsche Bank had an interview day or something on the same as Macquarie.
DB were in a spot of bother when no-one turned up.
The story is something like that anyway.
Stick it out at GSJBW (its not GS, GS only have a 45% equity stake in it.). Will look better on your resume instead of jumping shop when you dont like it.
At least they wont ask you why you left so quickly - in your next interview.
Re: internships 07
lol.
On another topic, an old high boy is head of asia pacific equities at credit suisse in hk. You should meet up with him when you go to hk, in your spare 2 hours a week ;)
