Well, the major and minor is pretty much the same but I guess at the end of the course, you come to a decision which subject you prefer over the other. They just use it as a means of differentiation I guess.

LOL. English isn't that bad! Academic writing was a waste of time I admit, but it was still better than 1007. I think choosing 1008 would probably have been better, except you had to do a gazillion readings.
