    Not unless you reject your main preference I think. Late round offers are only made for any preferences above your offer, not below. So put your first preference in your first preference slot, and if you don't get that have your back up later on. Edit: beaten lol.

    Not sure about the VCE system, but if its anything like the NSW one, basically the scaling is there as an afterthought rather than having any direct effect upon your results. Therefore, if you fuck up, that's you fucking up in that exam compared to everyone else, not a fault of the system...
