Important - New Legislation - Read!

Nelson makes a valid point that the existing union services such as food outlets, etc will be open for small businesses to take up. There shouldn't be an large disparity in prices. I don't see how this will have an impact on students aside from not having to listen to the incessant rantings...

Uni Students - VSU vs. USU ?

    How to study for law

Everyone will have their own methods. This is what I do: 1. Do ALL readings, and take written, detailed but concise notes. Individual case notes like this: 2. In class, when in discussion, refer to notes. 3. At the end of the week review the week's notes. When waiting for a class with...

    cases

The principle, or ratio of the case. Obviously judges refer to previous cases, and when you want to argue something you have to use those cases to determine the points of law which will be applied. Important cases are the ones which assert or apply principles of law which then shape what the law...

    law questions help

'Common law' can mean 3 different things: Firstly it can be used to refer to non-statutory law (primarily judge made law) as opposed to legislation. Secondly it can be used in contrast with civil law systems (Civil law is based on Roman law, prominent among European countries... and also...
