4U is yr 12 only at my school. i'm in yr 11 so they won't let me take 4u yet.

why get 12/12 in the last question in 20min, when you can get 12/12 in Q1 in 10 min? Marks are marks, in the same way an electron from sodium is the same as the electrons in chlorine.

no. Ace q.1 Its the easiest to ace, and you most likely wont get full marks because of nervousness or exam pressure. Q1 was as bad as my Q10. I got 10/12 in both sections. 10/12 was the only double digit mark for Q10 in my class. Try to get the marks in the easy questions. You'll get more...

i heard something similar, but i doubt that is true. your school mark will be that 50/55, and your external mark will be that 5/55. each make up 50% of your total mark.

Yes, i went last year, and there were like 2 yr 11's and 10 yr 10's there. so i'm not going this year.

My teacher told me that my mark in the half-yearlies 107/120 would be at least 96 in the HSC.

if you're in yr 11, nothing counts towards the HSC. So catch up on work before your next set of tests, and start getting good marks.

Yes! Textbooks are more important than the teacher :D, unless your teacher is like my math teacher. He explains things so well he's better than any textbook! :D
