I do advanced English but I don't think there is a lot of difference between the difficulty of standard and advance. I think they are both difficult courses its just advanced requires a deeper level of analysis to get a decent mark. Having said that, talk to your teacher, get them to explain...

u don't necessarily need a good mark to get a high rank. Take for example an exam that a certain class just did at a certain school (I wasn't in this class thankyou) Highest ranked got 42%, not even a pass. Someone's gotta come first, you don't need a good mark, you just need a mark less crap...

no one said what a persuasive precedent is.............its when a precedent from a lower court is followed by a higher one even though it doesn't have to follow it, thus the decision of the lower court has 'persuaded' the ruling in a higher one.
