heya coolies!! im 1st trumpet in PAU orchestra and 4th :( trumpet in spec.. are you in year 12? how crap was it that the cancelled our finnaly xmas concert :( i didn't even get to say bye to all the pau ppl that didn't get into spec. i got scared when the stage kept shaking with the damn...

i got freaked out when he said the first section went towards your entrance!! and i suck at all dictation.. :( and harmony is pretty shit. My 18th is in the 1st week of con next year so when we all get in. EVERYONE is invited. it will probably be at the paragon.. not sure :D

my audition was pretty good as well, and NO SCALES!!! yay!!! :) bit off puting waiting to go in with good trumpeters playing in their but oh well im happy with how i played, might have been better if i wasn't SICK!!! :( damn the heat... yay only one more audition left, SBS!! woo hoo!! :D

i did classical, played Haydn 1st and 2nd. i think its best to stay to additionals with plenty or music to choose from like cause there ain't really that much in Baroque.. unless you play a piccolo, that would really go good with examiners two dif instruments. i think Classical and 20th Century...

ITS TRUE!!!! they had a party a few weeks ago and they had one of the jazz bands playing, i was sceptical to, but i saw the evidence of it on saturday morning when i was there. lol :p

lol, maybe im not that worried :p i need to get a few good parties into me after HSC :D. i know uni ppl tend to party alot more than high schoolers but ive herd the con does alot more.. Like having parites in the Con Cafe, ahaha and they had to get the carpet cleaned from the vomit and upon...

Syd Con Life? Ive herd that syd con can get pretty crazy at times, eg parties all the time. this is a bit of a worry cause it looks like ppl don't think about music that much and just party hard... im sure their are differnt groups though that aren't as crazy as the rumours i've herd...

hmmm maybe you could look at The Youth Access Program at syd con, its not a teritary course but its desingned to give ppl the skills in ensemble, solo and theory that are needed in any BMus course. It runs every saturday morning from 9am - 1pm so check it out!! :P also maybe look at either Music...
