Well, I'm also doing My Place and I'm seriously considering Jospeh Conrad's novel Heart Of Darkness as a related text. My teacher says it's perfect for inner journey and it's been reccomended by others aswell. Check it out.

Same here, as it was a major development for christianity in australia. Not sure how it'll be marked though. Related it to social change by talking about denominational switching from traditional denominations, etc.

I'm quite sure the answer will be World War I. My reasons: Generally all denominations supported the war itself because they thought it would be over soon, and wanted to show loyalty to the british empire (especially protestants). I say it isn't World War II because unlike the first war...
