then explain to me the need to price tickets so high if not for the money. the only other thing i can think of is arrogance from the board, thinking that fans will pay anything to see their team. at least now they have been proved wrong

Only got to watch snippets of the Sydney/Queensland game, and wasnt in the fittest of states while watching it, but it was a cracker of a game. Sydney have finally played a match to the same quality of the players in it. Huge crowd as well, i think it was 25000.

shit, writing this with a sore head. the last day of school went off! im writing this now so i get some sleep and get back at it 2nite. "Fed up with his treatment by the British press, English football's most outspoken manager Jose Mourinho has taken a vow of silence." How long do ya...

thats a bit harsh (unless you play in a state prem league team, in that case you may well be. some players ive seen would be a great find for a-league clubs). Are peoples standards too high from watching epl and serie a compared to our league? Coz what ive seen has been pretty good. any game...

do the epl clubs just not give a shit bout the league cup? while it seems the managers showed a bit of respect by fielding full strength lineups, the players must not care. maybe the should restructure the cup so that only non epl clubs compete in it. many say it has become redundant and...

the joeys had a tough draw. mexico have a great lineup, Carlos Vela a great signing by barca. turkey were tough too, being the euro champs and all hilarous bout spurs :D not a arse fan but any epl club that gets owned by a non league club is funny

shit, we're six games into the new season and youre talking relegation to everton? i think they have too much cash from the sales of rooney and graveson to look like going down, if theyre looking bad in jan they'll make a few buys. btw, i thought riise played left back

I cant say any team is better than the other yet. I dont know if I can say there is inconsistency, I think it might be the closeness of the teams strength. Many may critisise the salary cap, but its made for an interesting league, for the neutral fan like me anyway. Id say i'm just as, if not...

i used to be a fan of chelsea. they werent always as competitive as arsenal and man u, but they are unrecognisable as that team i liked only five years ago. zola, hasselbaink... the fans loved them. they demonstrated loyalty to the fans of chelsea, to its history, its traditions... not just...

Wait- are people critising these "ultra-conservative" selectors now? I didnt sound like it when Mark Waugh, Steve Waugh, Michael Slater, Ian Healy, Mark Taylor, Darren Lehmann, etc were fired or threatened with being fired? How can you just drop in form players, only for the sake of...
